Gina S. B. Jackson
Gina has created an exceptional connection with people who grieve, making her one of the most respected and admired Advanced Grief Recovery Specialists today.
Gina's grief recovery journey started after the loss of her older brother, Bernard. Gina describes having given up on life and feeling as if she was just "existing" after Bernard's death.
As an Advance Grief Recovery Specialist, Gina has been guiding clients successfully through their grief recovery since January of 2020. In 2021 Gina founded Release Grief and Heal, a for-profit organization that focuses on healing those who are grieving and bringing awareness to grief through innovative ideas.
As one of many grief specialists, Gina believes that anyone who is seeking grief assistance should receive grief education, and the tools needed to begin their healing process. Gina also explores grant opportunities to provide funding for those in need to attend workshops, one-on-one and group sessions.
Gina's most recent accomplishments include her Real Loss Talk articles that have been published in two local community newspapers along with her Release Grief and Heal newsletters that she distributes to her clients monthly.
Gina is thankful and grateful to embark on the emotional state of grief that so many rarely share or discuss. Gina upholds the motto “you have to feel before you can heal.”
Gina S. B. Jackson currently holds three collegiate degrees from Wilberforce University and Columbia Southern University and Certification as an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist from The Grief Recovery Institute.
Gina is married to Eric C. Jackson, and they share one adult son and one four-legged pup.
